Outstanding die struck Panzer Assault Badge from A.D. Schwerdt.  Great detail.  Slight wear. Most of the silver plating has worn off over the years but everything in solid shape.  Hinge is really nice.

Classic Panzer Assault Badge from Hermann Wernstein.  Typical hinge and catch from this maker.  Badge looks like it has spent some time in the ground or moisture as some of the badge material has deteriorated but it still shows superbly.

Good late-war badge from Rudolf Souval.  Very little of the silver finish remains.  Some corrosion but a very nice badge.  All parts are intact.

Infantry Assault Badge - Silver or Bronze  - $ 85

Field Repair & Dug Item

A late-war badge from Rudolf Souval.  It looks like it was a dug badge.  Quite a bit of soil and some wear.  It is difficult to tell if it was a Silver or Bronze badge.  It looks like there may be some original finish on the reverse that looks bronze.  The retaining pin has been repaired with what looks like may have been a field repair.  The repair has been done in a very interesting way.  A hole was drilled in the badge and the replacement pin was inserted into the hole and soldered.  The pin has been subsequently bent over trapping the pin.  While not pristine this is a truly interesting and neat badge.
