Nice large flag with multi-part construction.  Some areas have significant mothing as can be seen in photos.  This one was was likely either cut or torn down as it is missing it's hoist end.  Still has great presence.

If you like your pieces salty, this is a great one.  It's everything you would expect an ID flag taken off a vehicle to be.  Some rips & tears as well as some oil and grease stains.  You never know about the stories when you pick up a piece.  I usually listen and say to myself, ahh, probably not.  This one however I will pass on since it fits the piece well.  I purchased it in 1999 from an older gentleman that indicated he had received it from his neighbor in NZ many years before.  His neighbor had served in the 2nd NZ Division in Italy and said he had taken it off of a destroyed tank.  I've used it for my own display background for many years (yes, I really like them salty).  Time for a change though and to pass on to someone else.
