Another beautiful event badge.  This one is a very uncommon badge from after the start of the war.  It is from the 3rd International (interesting term for the German's to be using at this time) air race in 1940.  On this particular badge there is no damage.  It measures 45mm x 60mm (larger than the normal event badge) and is in slight cupped form.

I'll let a little personal bias slip through on these badges.  The NSFK event badges such as this one are some of the most attractive badges produced during the 3rd Reich period in my opinion.  The detail is unmatched.  The enamel is rich in color and depth.  They are simply beautiful pieces of art and craftsmanship.
